- This is a script file for GT-Powercomm (12.0) that will automatically
- try to dial into a series of PC-Pursuit nodes until one connected.
-
- To set up this script, move all the "*.scr" and "*.cty" files into your
- SCRIPT file directory (if you have specified one) and the "*.dir" files
- into your DIRECTORY file directory.
-
- Use a text editor to modify "PURSUIT.SCR"; enter in your PC-Pursuit ID
- and Password (the variables should be near the beginning of the file).
-
- If you haven't done so already, put your local PC-Pursuit number into
- the main directory and specify that "PURSUIT.SCR" is to be executed
- when connected.
-
- When you are connected to the local PC-Pursuit node, the script file
- will display a list of cities (25) and prompt you for the ones to connect
- to. You can specify one (or more) cities by entering the letters (in lower-
- case) that are associated with each city. For example, to specify San Jose,
- San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, and New York, you would enter:
-
- "vuieo <CR>"
-
- The script will then attempt to connect to each of the city nodes specified.
- When it connects with one of the cities, it will beep 3 times and load
- the directory for that particular city. You can store up to 999 entries for
- each city directory using GT-Powercomm! Not only that, but you can also
- put 200 of these numbers in a circular dialing queue!
-
- In order to drop into the "@" level, you must issue a break character (ALT-B).
- When you are finished with a node, you can try connecting with another city
- that was previously specified by hitting ALT-X.
-
- Have fun!!!
